Claudia Bach
Claudia is noted for bringing creative yet pragmatic solutions to the challenges of the cultural sector. She played a key role in the expansion of the Henry Art Gallery, the art museum of the University of Washington, as Deputy Director, and served as the lead consultant for Leveraging Investments in Creativity’s initiatives on artists and health coverage, and works with a wide range of arts and cultural organizations, community and governmental entities. Claudia has broad experience in strategic and cultural planning, public affairs, marketing and media relations, partnership development, board and fund development, program development, training, evaluation and research. She has spoken and published on many topics including capacity building and change management, is a frequent presenter of workshops and classes, and is an adjunct professor for Seattle University’s MFA in Arts Leadership. Claudia received her Bachelors degree in Art History, magna cum laude, from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, and a Masters degree in Communications from the University of Washington, where her research focus was on museums and diverse audiences. She is based in Seattle.
