Katie Behrends

Katie served as an administrative volunteer at Executive Service Corps of Cincinnati for five months before joining ESC of Washington in 2007. Prior to this, she completed an internship with the International Programs department of the National Conference of State Legislatures.
Katie is a former Fulbright grantee to South Korea, where she taught English in a public middle school and served as Executive Assistant to the Director of the Korean Fulbright Commission. She has traveled extensively, and is proficient in Japanese and Korean.
Katie is the former board chair and founding member of the Puget Sound chapter of the Young Nonprofit Professionals Network. She holds a B.A. in International Studies from the University of Evansville and has completed a Grantsmanship Center training course.
