Duane Landon

Duane has over eight years of non-profit specific experience including five years of accounting and bookkeeping. He has extensive accounting experience with non-profits varying in budget from $20 thousand to over $1 million. His work includes full-charge accounting, Form 990 preparation, management accounting, and general attestation. He is an expert at developing a robust set of financial policies and procedures tailored to the specific circumstance of the particular organization.

In addition to the many years of accounting, Duane’s skill set is rounded out with a number of years in general business consulting including projects in operational assessment, strategic planning, and human resources. His formal education includes a degree in accounting, a master in business and a master in public administration.

Prior to his non-profit experience Duane spent 10 years in general and middle management for recognized corporations such as REI. During these years he learned important skills in customer service, effective communication, managing teams, and other essentials to success.
