Board of Directors

ESC's board of directors uses an approach to governance known as Policy Governance®. This approach differs from other ideas about governance in that it clearly defines the role of the board as being separate from the role of the executive director. The board is responsible for ensuring that ESC is meeting the needs of the nonprofit sector and operating in a legally, financially, and ethically appropriate manner.
