Who are our clients?

The nonprofit organizations assisted by ESC work on behalf of their constituents and communities, across a broad spectrum of need. They include organizations that are working to eradicate poverty, make the arts accessible, develop affordable housing, provide social services, improve employment and education opportunities, increase access to health care, and advocate for environmental causes.

ESC Can Help

As a nonprofit consulting services organization, we understand your challenges. ESC is powered by the tremendous energy of more than 90 volunteer consultants. These consultants help non-profits become more effective by using the skills they developed building and leading successful organizations.

CONSULTING AND FACILITATION

We understand it's not easy running a non-profit. Does this sound familiar?

ESC volunteers consultants can assist an organization in matters of strategic planning, board development, human resources management, and communications and public relations.

FINANCIAL FITNESS FOR NON-PROFITS PROGRAM (FFNP)

The FFNP program seeks to improve the capacity of nonprofit organizations to manage their resources, make decisions based on solid financial information, and demonstrate good financial practices, including using generally accepted accounting principles.

The program includes an assessment of financial systems and practices, training for executive directors and other management leaders, training for boards of directors on their fiduciary role and responsibilities, and the development of financial policies and procedures that are appropriate to the organizations. In addition, ESC provides consulting services to address specialized needs, and offers "Quick Consults" for one-time questions. We also offer workshops on securing bank loans and lines of credit, and preparing for a capital campaign.

LEADERSHIP COACHING

ESC provides affordable, high impact leadership coaching services for nonprofit Executive Directors, CEOs, board presidents, and other managers. In addition, leadership coaching services are available to school superintendents, principals, and heads of school.

MIGHTY MOUTH

Presenting Your Organization to Audiences Large and Small

Through a workshop on presentation skills and personal follow-up coaching, Mighty Mouth is designed to help you:

Communicate more effectively with funders, your board and staff, community and professional audiences
Improve your verbal communication skills with all types and sizes of audiences
Build your confidence and comfort, and be able to present a relaxed, strong image
Enhance your nonverbal impact.

The experience and insight of these volunteer executives and business professionals boost the potential of each nonprofit we serve. ESC is also committed to providing its services on a truly affordable sliding-fee scale in order to assure affordability to non-profits seeking consulting assistance.
